Pack the Park 2023
Kindness Kits is partnering with Reach Church's Pack the Park vent to provide 1000 Kindness Kits. That means we need 7,000 items at minimum and probably closer to 10,000 items above and beyond what we give out each month.
Our basic kits include seven or eight items (plus bag). For the special kits, we'd like to fill gallon resealable plastic bags with
Soap and Shampoo
Toothbrush and Toothpaste
Comb and Brush
and potentially conditioner, lip balm, lotion or another extra
As these items are needed in addition to our normal August product needs, we are raising monies and products now.
If we purchase travel size items, we're looking at between $2000 and $4000 with an extra or two. And we'd prefer to purchase mostly full size items to increase the benefits to our neighbors.

You can donate online, drop a check in the mail (Blair Healing Rooms, PO Box 54, Blair NE 68008-0054) or drop off product Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM at Blair Radio, 750 Angels Share Dr, Ste 301 (Dana Campus). Blair Healing Rooms is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by US law.
Something new: watch our Facebook Page or ask to be alerted about an upcoming drive through product drive. You can drive to the parking circle on the Dana Campus (next to Christ Lutheran Church) and drop off product or monetary donations without leaving your vehicle!
Monies aren't the only thing needed! We need helping hands! Whether we purchase every item with monetary donations or receive each item from the community, we will have 1,000 bags to pack and transport to the event.
Current packing parties are the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 4 PM but this event could add a few to our schedule.
